Caesar Salad


The ever popular Caesar salad is one recipe you need to know if you have diabetes. The greens and spices found in the caesar salad are full of healthy benefits for blood sugar control and insulin resistance. Greens are also great to fill your body with fiber.


Ingredients

1 cup of tofu (silkened)

3 cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon of mustard

1/4 teaspoon or salt and black pepper

2 tablespoons of water and lemon juice

1 teaspoon of olive oil

10 cups of romaine lettuce

2 cups of tomatoes (any type)

1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
