You Skip Your Meals


You cannot skip meals. If you do not take your meals consistently, your blood sugar levels may decrease to danger levels. Always lean towards having 3-4 lighter meals a day instead of having one or two huge meals. Remember to also take lots of healthy foods, such as fruits and veggies. Drink lots of water as well. It would be essential to also consult your doctor for an appropriate diet plan for your current diabetes condition.

Ignoring Other Possible Problems


Battling diabetes can take a toll on you. The constant stress of managing your illness might get to you. If not handled well, it could even lead to depression. Stress and depression can really affect your blood sugar levels as well. Besides physical well being, mental health is equally important as it can make or break you.

Keep yourself calm always and take a step at a time. If you feel stressed up, go for a short vacation with your family or at least just take a break from work. Go do something you like!
