You Do Not Go For Regular Checkups

We all hate visiting the doctors but you have remember to always visit your doctor for regular follow ups if you want to fix your diabetes. Besides having an accurate update on your current condition and the extra assurance your doctor can give you, it is important that the other parts of your body in a whole is healthy.

Diabetes raises the risk for other problems such as heart, kidney diseases and other health problems. Hence, it is always wise to go for regular checkups. Don't forget the other parts of your body!

You Don't Exercise Regularly

Exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight and feel more energetic. It also helps insulin lower your blood sugar levels. Be active on a regular basis. Then see how your blood sugar responds to exercise.

Tell your doctor about what you observe. This helps your doctor know how to adjust your insulin schedule to keep your blood sugar levels steady. If you are active only once in a while, it is harder to predict your insulin needs. A random bout of exercise could cause your blood sugar level to drop too low. So, try to be active for about 30 minutes every day. Exercise is essential in steadying your blood sugar levels.
