Insulin Is Not Stored Correctly

As you know, insulin is extremely crucial in keeping diabetes in check. Hence, you need to understand how to store it! As a rule of thumb, you need to keep insulin in a cool place, as cool as it can get in fact. But remember it cannot get TOO COLD, or frozen. Insulin loses it function if it is too warm or cold. Your blood sugar levels will be affected if insulin is stored wrongly. Do not keep insulin at room temperature in your kitchen or even in your bedroom. Keep it in your refrigerator.

Tip: If you are traveling, keep it in a cooler.
