Other than avoiding refined carbs, sugar and fat, sodium is the fourth taboo in a diabetics meal as it lead to high blood pressure and other heart-related diseases. Unfortunately, all 4 of the above taboos are found in the incredibly convenient microwave meals with sodium being the most promient overkill. Hence, making the instant microwaved meals one of the WORST food for diabetics.
Tip: Settle for a fast and nutritious nut butter whole meal sandwich instead!
