Red meat is one of the most controversial types of meat in health related problems. If you have diabetes, you can have red meat occasionally but never overeat it. But the red meat you have must be fresh meat, for instance, your steaks are fine. Stay away from processed meat such as all time favorite bacon and sausages. A recent study found that people who ate 1 hot dog or 2 slices of bacon a day has two times the risk of getting diabetes! Staggering!
