It can also lead to hypertension, and significantly worsen vascular health. Sugar free products may escalate the onset of heart-related complications common to diabetes.

Due to its excitotoxicity, artificial sweeteners found in sugar free products are associated with countless diseases and medical conditions including: Alzheimers' disease, Cancer, Depression, Insomnia, Dementia, Migraines etc.
While it might not be possible to avoid sugar free products entirely, limited to moderate consumption is ideal – the lesser, the better! If you get a craving for something sweet, it is always better to opt for fresh fruit as it is both tasty and packed with nutrients.
