What Causes Type 2 Diabetes?

Before evaluating the allegedly reversible condition, it is important to first understand the illness and the cause of it. Type 2 Diabetes is a dysfunction of carbohydrates metabolism which can be due to insensitivity to insulin or insufficient insulin production. These result in overly high glucose level in the bloodstream and urine which can lead to poor vascular health and further complications.

The disorder is hereditary but mostly triggered by unhealthy lifestyle. A study on diabetic patients found that a poor diet, insufficient physical activity and obesity are the most common ignition of the disorder.
