Loss or overgrowth of the fat tissue
Daily insulin injections may cause fats to develop due to the failure to rotate the injection sites. Insulin injections are normally in the abdomen area where most of the fat deposits are abundant. Therefore, to avoid the loss of the fat tissues, a recommendation is to rotate the injection area every time. Moreover, when there is an apparent overgrowth or loss of fat tissue at the injection area, the efficacy of the medication- insulin- is no longer 100% useful.
