Apart from the common diabetic complications affecting your eyehealth, heart health and nerves, diabetes is also said to lead to hearing impairment. Studies have found that hearing loss affects up to 65% of the people with diabetes. Hearing impairment is also prevalent in pre-diabetics who have a higher than normal blood glucose level. These findings led to a close link drawn between the two conditions.
