TCM Approach: Acupunture

When using acupuncture to treat diabetes, TCM practitioners targets a point on the back called “Yishu”, which is lateral to the thoracic vertebrae. – it is known to influence pancreatic functions and lower sugar levels by stimulating the production of insulin in the pancreas. Acupuncture points can be used to treat diabetes throughout the body and on several meridians.

However, keep in mind that both methods will not produce results overnight. The TCM approach requires a series and term of treatment before the body regains its former health and functions properly.
