Walnuts


Walnuts are one of the best from the nut family for diabetics. They are high in protein and fiber which are great. Walnuts are also said to be great for boosting insulin sensitivity. Recent studies have found that people with diabetes that regularly eats walnuts have seen an improvement in being able to manage their blood sugars.

Tip: Eat the walnuts plain, not the salted ones.
