Various studies have shown that cinnamon is beneficial to people with type 2 diabetes and proven effective in regularizing blood sugar levels. It was found that daily comsumption of 1-6g of cinnamon over a period of 40 days not only lowered glucose levels but also LDL cholestrol and total cholestrol. This versatile herb can be easily included in your diet as it comes in various forms like powder, tea, oil and tablet supplements or extracts.

Tip: Add cinnamon powder in your coffee or simply drink it as tea.
