Sugar free products increase risk of Hypertension and Cardiovascular disease
Consuming more than two artificially sweetened beverages per day or more than two sugar sweetened beverages per day increases risk for coronary heart disease. It can also lead to hypertension, and significantly worsen vascular health. Sugar free products may escalate the onset of heart-related complications common to diabetes.

Sugar free products are linked to many other disease
Due to its excitotoxicity, artificial sweeteners found in sugar free products are associated with countless diseases and medical conditions including: Alzheimers' disease, Cancer, Depression, Insomnia, Dementia, Migraines etc.

While it might not be possible to avoid sugar free products entirely, limited to moderate consumption is ideal – the lesser, the better! If you get a craving for something sweet, it is always better to opt for fresh fruit as it is both tasty and packed with nutrients.
