4. Coffee Has Some Pretty Important Nutrients

Coffee beans are a good source of nutrients like Vitamin B3 and Potassium. It’s also a pretty good source of antioxidants. These help improve your overall health and energy levels, making it easier to fight diabetes and improve your blood sugar absorption throughout the day.

A Word of Caution!

Just because coffee has some benefits for anyone with diabetes does not mean that it is automatically the best thing in the world for you. You have to understand your tolerance, needs and particular nutritional balance before simply assuming that coffee is the best thing for your diet.

If you take 10 cups of coffee a day with several pounds of cream and sugar throughout, it is not going to outweigh the health detriment of all that sugar and milk. Keep things balanced and know your limits, even when it comes to coffee!
