Fish Oil

Studies have seen vast improvements in patients with bipolar disorders from daily consumption of fish oil. Due to the high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil helps to stabilize the mood fluctuations experienced by the manic-depressives. As our brain cell membranes are made up of omega-3 fatty acids, an increased intake of omega-3 in our diet could improve the functioning of the cell membranes and hence inhibiting the signaling of negative emotions.

Tip: Aim for 5-10g of omega-3. Choose product with higher concentration of omega-3 for lesser capsule intake.
