How Paleo Diet Help Diabetes

Now lets go more in depth. Paleo diet helps diabetes because it contains:

Dietary fiber
According to the Paleo diet, one should take about 25 grams to 35 grams of dietary fiber per day. Dietary fiber is necessary for us as it contributes to the food that causes natural roughage to the diet. They are also known as soluble and insoluble fibers.

  • Soluble fibers: The richest sources of soluble fibers are fruits and vegetables. These foods help lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels and are especially effective in lowering blood glucose.

  • Insoluble fibers: These fibers are rich in seeds, whole grains and nuts. A diet of foods rich in insoluble fiber helps having healthy and natural bowel movements.
