Studies Show That Alzheimer's Disease Could be Brain Diabetes

According to studies, the pathophysiology or dysfunction caused by diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease, in cellular levels, showed similar characteristics. These similarities give rise to the speculation that Alzheimer’s disease could be another form of diabetes mellitus which pertains to the brain. Some even refer it as type 3 diabetes.
