When your muscles don’t move on a regular basis, they stop absorbing insulin properly. This is known as insulin resistance or pre-diabetes. After a while, your insulin doesn’t absorb at all and that’s when you become diabetic. Moving your muscles helps exert energy and allows insulin to put blood sugar into your muscles.
This is the best way to keep yourself from diabetes. If you consume a lot, work out a lot and it will balance everything out nicely!
