2. Burning Urination

One of the most obvious signs of chlamydia in women is a feeling of burning sensation when urinating. This is usually due to the inflammation in the urinary tract that includes the bladder, kidneys, and urethra. The flow of urine as it goes out of your urethra will further irritate the already inflamed tissue and can worsen the pain which will range from mild to unbearable.

Sometimes, the patient with chlamydia will also feel an uncontrollable urge to urinate and they will feel like their bladder is about to explode. Most patients will think that these symptoms are only due to an infection in the bladder and will eventually go away. As a result, this symptom is often being ignored.
