What And How Much Fruits Can Bad Diabetics Eat?

Just because fruit contains high amount of nutrients doesn not mean diabetics can eat any fruit and in any amount. Fruit can affect blood sugar levels as much as candies do. Fruits are rich in carbohydrates, so be sure to include them in your carbohydrate count.

Here is a list of fruits that diabetics can eat:
Apples
Apricots, Nectarine, Peaches and Plums
Avocado
Banana
Blackberries, Blueberries, Cherries, Raspberries and Strawberries
Melon, Cantaloupe, Honeydew melon and squash
Figs, Dates and dried fruit(in moderation, see recommended serving below)
Grapefruit, orange and tangerine
Grapes
Kiwi
Mango
Papaya
Pears
Pineapple
Tomatoes
Watermelon

Here are examples of recommended daily servings of fruits for diabetics:
1 small apple, orange or pear
1 medium-sized banana
A cup of melon
3/4 cup of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries or blackberries
2 tbspns of dried raisins or dried cherries
